After 20 + years The Family Clubhouse Restaurant was in need of a revamp and refresh throughout both the front and back of house facilities. PMDL’s design intent was to create a warm, contemporary aesthetic that still paid homage to its original 1960s / 70s heritage. In addition to the geometric patterns, green natural hues and modern gold & marble accents, it was an essential part of the design to bring the outdoors in and showcase the stunning valley views.

With this in mind, PMDL approached JEBCustomProjects to engineer a glass facade , which can be entirely opened up or closed down in all directions thanks to its Automatic bifold and operable wall system. This key feature allowed the restaurant to fully open up, create a relaxed, resort style feel and allow fresh air to flow through.

Kurt Walter, the General Manager has said that since the unveiling and opening of this new facility, the members response has been ‘overwhelmingly positive’ with a much noticed increase in ‘footfall’.=
